A short history;
Joseph, the first Polglase to arrive in NZ, was born in Truro, Cornwall in 1815. He married
Johanna Jenkins and migrated to Aust in 1846 and thence to NZ, arriving in Nelson on Xmas Day 1854 from Melbourne on the SV 'Rollo'. His first son, Joseph (jnr), married Caroline. I am a descendant of Joseph (jnr) and a 5th generation New Zealander.

Happy Days
Cousin Jeff Brown, me and Sue. 1958. Dads Pontiac. Note the doors opening. Sue eventually opened the door while we were travelling and was dragged out into the slip stream. Many months in hospital but healed without a scar, as far as I know.
