Cape Foulwind is a headland on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand overlooking the Tasman Sea. Previously named Rocky Cape by Abel Tasman, the present name was bestowed by James Cook in 1770 after his ship Endeavour was blown offshore from this point.
Man with a horse, and a point of view. A charming fella who boasts of receiving over $100,000 worth of tickets for illegally 'parking' his horse and carriage. Fights them all in court, and wins! Why would the police waste their time? Why would he waste his time? Weird.
Catlins Forest Park Falls were 'flooding' due to heavy rainfalls, the day we viewed.
