Gypsy (renamed from Gjoa).
Built by Rival Yachts in Southampton, UK to Lloyds A1+ standard. We visited the boatyard and met many of the staff involved in her build. Originally built for a Texan millionaire she was still in 'mint' condition when we bought her. I sailed around the Hauraki Gulf for several years. Never got off shore tho (Gjøa was the first vessel to transit the Northwest Passage. With a crew of six, Roald Amundsen traversed the passage in a three-year journey, finishing in 1906.)

John and Joan Stallard
John provided a lot of advice to me over the years. Mokai was my first yacht. A Pelin Caribou trailer sailor permanently berthed in Milford Creek, Milford, North Shore, Auckland. Caroline (in background) owned by Bill Brown became another friend and mentor.
